I met her in the summer she's really pretty and I really like her but her father won't let her go out until she's 18. I have to wait a year to date her should I move on or wait for her.

well, get to know her first. Hang out with her and stuff and see if your feelings for her are still the same. If not, then move on. Or you can just be friends with her until next year and then tell her you like her, hopefully she'll feel the same way too
